everywhere a rainbow.
yesterday, after work,
we were treated to not just one rainbow,
or two or three or four
but five rainbows.
i was able to get pictures of 2 of them.
this was north of moose junction...
this was over the elk refuge...
As the song says... Well, we're on our way. We don't know where we're going. We're on our way. We are taking our time. But we don't know where...

from summer
straight to winter.
what happened to fall?
the first real snow of the season greeted us yesterday morning.
the whole day was cold, windy, and rainy.
and if you were up in the high country
it was snowy also.
this morning,
we woke up to blue sky
and by the end of the day
it was warm enough to take off sweatshirts.
maybe there is hope for fall after all.

happy first day of school, little ms murie!
tuesday, i went to lunch with my friend, murie.
she is 5 years old and started kindergarten on wednesday.
murie is a sweet, friendly, beautiful, colorful little girl (just like her mom)
and i can only imagine what a great young lady she will grow up to be.
her mom, erin and i and judy went to lunch with her to celebrate.
