quick week in review

i have to hurry up and post this or i will lose the internet connection for the hundreth time.

sorry, these posts  have been so sporadic and short.

we came upon the first moose jam of the season.

the bison babies are here!!!!!

are you as tired of seeing snow pictures

as i am of taking them?

the snow fall for the winter of 2010/2011 was over 700 feet

yeah, i said feet!!

double the normal snow fall for an average year.

the water content of the snow was 3 times over the average.

this has been the hardest winter

since they started recording

all this interesting information

and the coldest/wettest may ever.

bridges and trails in the backcountry

have been ruined and need to be rebuilt.

roads, bridges, the headquarters buildings,

our warehouse, and visitor's center in moose

are in danger of flooding in the next few weeks.

these pictures were taken in the north end

of the park on sunday, may 29th.

we had snow flurries today, june 2nd.

this is how i feel about the weather and the internet!!!!
