November 2011 part 2

once we finally arrived

at jeremy's and courtney's house

we had a great time

hanging out with adelyn

and helping with chores

and visiting with the animals.

one afternoon john and i

took adelyn across the street

into the apple orchard.

it didn't last long,

since we somehow managed

to find the only spot that

had dog poop

and adelyn promptly

stepped in it.

it was fun while it lasted.

jeremy's house sits right in the

middle of orchards and vineyards.

everywhere you look from their house

you see trees and vines.

past the orchard that is across the street,

is a canal filled with cattails

and a view of the hills beyond.

even crossing the river you get a great view

the sunsets from their front porch

are spectacular.
