peek-a-boo!!!!

this guy was so big, he could look at us over the front of the truck.
and we were not in a small toyota pickup.
our truck is a dodge ram 4wheel drive. 
(and it has very dirty windows, sorry about that)

we came upon this herd on the way to work on friday.
they just did not want to move out of our way.
we sat for quite a few minutes before they cooperated and moved.
the picture did not pick up how beautiful it was
with the sun coming up over the meadow
and all the bison just kind of hanging around looking a bit sleepy.
