cannon beach, oregon

for my birthday,

john, jamie, and i

took a drive

to cannon beach oregon.

jamie got a bit friendly with the locals....

if you ever find yourself

in forest grove, oregon

just west of portland

you need to visit

mcmenamins - grand lodge.

originally a masonic & eastern star home

it has been converted into restaurants

and a movie theatre.

jamie, john and i went for dinner

and then went on a quick tour.

i could have stayed for hours

just wandering around.

here is just a short bit of wonders

we found...

if you were to travel

from richland, washington

to portland, oregon

on highway 84

traveling beside the columbia river

the entire 260 miles

you would see

water, bridges, dams, mt hood, and an assorted few other sites.....

this afternoon we went to the pumpkin patch

and found this little punkin

just waiting to be picked.
